What methods can I use to add shipments to my account? |

Many of our customers enter their shipments on our website through their "My Shipments" page. Simply enter your tracking numbers and name your shipments so you can remember which ones are which.
Your account also includes an email-based system for adding shipments to your account. Every Green Shipping account has an associated email address that can be found in your Shipment Settings page. If you send or forward emails containing tracking numbers to that address, the tracking numbers are automatically extracted and placed into your account. This makes it easy to enter your shipments without ever leaving your email program.
To protect your privacy, emails are scanned for tracking information and then deleted without ever saving the email on our server. We have also implemented a rigorous security system that gives you control of which email addresses are accepted by our server. To change your email settings go to the Shipment Settings section of your account. We only accept emails that have been sent from email addresses that you've approved.
While this is a powerful tool for consumers, it is what allows our business members to offset all their shipments with ease. Business users can configure their shipper accounts (UPS and FedEx) to automatically send tracking emails for all their shipments to Green Shipping. This ensures that all shipments are offset and that it takes no overhead on their part. See our Automated Offset FAQ.
