By completing this information, your USPS shipments will automatically be added to your Green Shipping account once the delivery is complete.

- You can use the USPS Shipment Notification Acceptance (SCAN) Form to have the shipment added to your Green Shipping account at time of shipment versus at the time of delivery. Once all labels for the day have been entered, the next step is to print and pay for the labels. On the Shipping Cart page, the checkbox "Add to MM/DD SCAN Form" should be marked. This will ensure that all labels currently being purchased will be added to the SCAN Form for the day.

- The SCAN Form is an end of day report which is provided to the mail carrier or post office, scanned upon receipt, and then generates the shipment notification message. After printing all your labels for the day, you'll prompted to review the SCAN Form Details. Select the "Closeout and Print" button in the lower right and the SCAN Form (see sample) will be generated.

- Deliver the SCAN form along with your shipments for the day to the mail carrier. The SCAN Form contains a master barcode that s scanned when your shipment is received by the Postal Service. This single scan enters all of your associated packages as a "Shipment Accepted" with the USPS and allows both sender and the recipient to see when the package entered the mailstream.
